How to Create and Share a Google Keep List Inside Google Messages

Image
You can create and share a Google Keep list without leaving Google Messages. Open a conversation, tap the + button at the lower left, choose Keep Notes , create a note or checklist, and tap Send . People who receive access can open the same Keep item and make permitted edits. The shared item is a Google Keep note, not ordinary message text. In a group chat, Google says everyone in the group receives access—even someone who later leaves the chat. Choose the conversation carefully, confirm the Google Account you want to use, and avoid placing passwords, payment details, recovery codes, identity documents, or other secrets in a collaborative list. If Keep Notes is missing from the + menu, do not reset the phone or erase Messages data. Update Google Messages and Google Keep, expand and inspect the full + drawer, verify the correct Google Account and Keep sync, and allow time for Google's staged rollout. Availability can vary by device, region, and app version. A shared Keep ...

Samsung Screen Repair Cost: When Is It Worth Fixing?

Samsung screen repair is worth considering when the confirmed repair restores a phone you still want to use for less than a suitable replacement. Start with a model-specific, all-in quote: the advertised screen price may not include the same parts, fees, or extra damage as your estimate.

For a U.S. price reference checked September 8, 2026, Samsung lists suggested screen-only repair prices of $174 for Galaxy S23 and $259 for Galaxy S23 Ultra, excluding applicable taxes and fees. These are examples, not a quote for your phone; location, repair scope, and inspection can change the amount. Check the current Samsung U.S. screen-repair table for your exact model.

Before approving work, compare two written estimates using the worksheet below. Separate the cost of restoring the display from any battery, frame, or board work, and settle backup requirements before handing over the phone. This guide uses U.S. service examples; confirm local terms elsewhere.

Which screen repair is the quote actually for?

Compare repair scope before comparing price. Samsung's U.S. page distinguishes front-screen repair from module replacement that includes the screen, bezel, and battery. The narrower option has inspection conditions, including no bent or broken frame, swollen battery, or other detected hardware failure.

Ask the provider to identify the damaged display and list the included parts in writing. For a foldable, specify inner or outer display; do not compare quotes that refer to different screens. If an independent shop offers glass-only work, ask exactly what it retains and replaces rather than assuming it matches Samsung's service category.

A screen that still shows an image is useful information for the technician, but it is not an eligibility decision. Report cracks, touch behavior, lines, and frame damage accurately. Do not bend the phone or press a lifting screen back into place to test it.

What should two repair estimates include?

Ask each provider for the total payable for the same model, damage, and repair scope. A cheaper headline amount is not a useful comparison if one estimate excludes inspection, shipping, or an additional damaged part.

Copy this worksheet into a note or print it. The blank fields are questions to ask, not claims that every provider charges each fee or offers each service. Keep serial numbers, account passwords, and payment details out of any publicly shared copy.

Use a request such as: “Please confirm the total for this model and damage, what parts are included, and whether you will ask me before any additional charge. What would I owe if I decline after inspection?” Save the answer with the estimate date and any expiry date the provider supplies.

Ask what post-repair checks are included for touch, display, and any affected fingerprint function. Obtain written information about sealing and water-resistance testing rather than treating a repaired phone as safe to submerge. A promise made verbally is harder to compare with another provider's written scope.

When is screen repair worth more than replacement?

Repair is a stronger option when the display is the confirmed problem, the rest of the phone meets your needs, and the total is comfortably below the cost of an acceptable replacement. There is no universal percentage that makes the decision for every Galaxy owner.

The phone already falls short on battery, storage, or support needsCheck whether the screen repair would leave those problems unresolved.
Important files exist only on the damaged phoneAsk about preserving access before authorizing resets or part changes; recovery is not guaranteed.
You intend to sell the repaired phoneCompare realistic as-is and repaired offers; do not assume the repair pays for itself.

Write down two totals: the complete repair estimate and the actual price of a suitable replacement, including unavoidable setup or accessory costs. Subtract a damaged-phone sale or trade-in credit only if you have an applicable offer; do not subtract the same credit twice.

A low resale value does not automatically make repair irrational if you intend to keep using the phone. Conversely, repairing only to sell can lose money if the price increase is smaller than the bill. For the broader device decision, use the existing Samsung repair-or-replace guide.

Could coverage change what you should pay?

Confirm coverage before approving an out-of-pocket repair. Samsung's U.S. mobile warranty terms distinguish covered defects from excluded damage; an unexpired warranty does not by itself establish that an accidental crack is covered.

Locate the purchase record and any active protection-plan documentation, then ask the responsible provider which route applies to this incident. Request the amount you would owe and the approved service process. Do not assume that paying an unrelated shop first will qualify for reimbursement.

This is a coverage check, not a recommendation to buy a plan after damage. For the separate eligibility question, see Samsung warranty versus cracked-screen protection. Country, provider, and plan terms must match your device and claim.

What must be settled before handing over the phone?

Settle the repair scope, extra-work approval, and data requirements before service. Samsung's mobile service preparation guidance describes backup and service options; use the instructions for the route you actually book.

If the phone is accessible, make a backup and verify that your important files are available elsewhere. Samsung Maintenance mode helps restrict access to personal information on supported devices, but it does not replace a backup. Samsung warns that repair can require resetting the phone or replacing storage.

If you cannot unlock or operate the display, tell the provider before authorizing work. Ask what can be diagnosed without erasing data and what happens if a different part is needed. Do not accept a promise that a new screen must restore access. The detailed backup questions belong in the screen-repair data handover guide.

Keep a copy of the estimate and record the phone's visible condition. Confirm where to ask about progress and how an amended estimate reaches you. Start an authorized service request through Samsung's U.S. repair portal if that is your chosen provider; merely reading a suggested price has not booked or approved a repair.

AndroidFixLab at www.androidfixlab.com provides this worksheet to help you compare estimates; only your service provider can confirm the diagnosis and final charge.

FAQ

Use these answers to clarify the estimate before paying.

Why is my quote higher than Samsung's online screen price?

Check that both amounts refer to the same model, display, and service scope. Ask for an itemized explanation of any fees or additional work rather than assuming the difference is an error.

Does a screen-repair quote include a new battery?

Not automatically. Ask whether the estimate is for a screen-only repair or a package with additional parts, and have the included battery work stated in writing.

Is the cheapest screen quote the best choice?

Only compare prices after matching the included parts, labor, total fees, and written repair terms. A lower amount with missing scope is not yet a comparable offer.

Should I repair the screen before selling the phone?

Compare the repair bill with the difference between realistic repaired and as-is offers. If the expected increase does not cover the bill, repairing solely to sell is difficult to justify.

Can I approve screen repair without backing up?

You can discuss service when backup is impossible, but data survival is not assured. Explain that files are not backed up and clarify the proposed work before consenting to a reset or replacement.
